The Godi Method
Postural Alignment: The Key to Healthy Training
Correct postural alignment is the key to successful injury-free training, so my training program always starts with a complete alignment assessment. After my client achieves alignment and balance we proceed with aerobic and conditioning training, as my experience has shown me that misalignment is the leading factor in back and other pains. Misalignment results in over working some muscles and under working others, resulting in an imbalance in muscle strength.

I won’t teach you how to only use a particular machine, I teach you how to exercise properly and safely, how to strengthen your body properly following a rehabilitation program, and how to prevent future injuries and achieve your goals. I focus my work on turning you into your own personal trainer.

The Ultimate Goal: A Healthy Body
My training sessions with clients are focused on achieving and maintaining these two major goals:
1) A healthy body with strong, elastic muscles, supported by joints that work properly within their range of motion.
2) Achieving your optimal aerobic capacity.

I take into consideration the age and health history of each individual and then use various training methods and techniques to achieve these goals.

The Importance of Physical Fitness
Individuals who are physically active tend to live longer, healthier lives. Research shows that even moderate physical activity—such as 30 minutes a day of brisk walking— significantly contributes to longevity. A physically active person with such risk factors as high blood pressure, diabetes or even a smoking habit can get real benefits from regular physical activity as part of daily life. As many dieters have found, exercise can help you stay on a diet and lose weight. What’s more, regular exercise can help lower blood pressure, control blood sugar, improve cholesterol levels and build stronger, denser bones.

Success Stories

Kati London
Age 34
Initial Consultation: Regular attacks of back pain, poor alignment, poor abdominal strength.

"I have been working with Claudia since 2004. What is explemary in her practice is the attention Claudia paid to my medical and physical history. I have a history of back pain and Claudia has helped me strengthen my body - not just to build up muscle, but to align and strengthen my body from the core. Her floor, mat work and exercises classes gave me tools that I can work with on my own with her guidance to ensure that my alignment is as it should be."

Brando Bernabei
Age: 28
Initial consultation: Severe back pain, unable to run, poor abdominal strength, poor physical condition.
Training period: 12 months

“ When I first started with Claudia I was suffering from serious back pain and poor health. After 12 months of training with Claudia two times a week, plus additional individual stretching exercises I did at home, I tried out and was accepted to play on a professional rugby team, which I'm competing with regularly. I couldn't have done this without Claudia's help!”

Riccardo Fiorentini
Age: 40

Initial Consultation: Attacks of back pain during exercise, poor coordination, poor abdominal strength.

“I was experiencing sudden attacks of back pain while playing squash. After training with Claudia my balance and coordination improved considerably and I learned how to run, lunge and move properly and more quickly. I was able to return to playing squash after 9 months of training, and I'm proud to say that I was able to run the New York Marathon one year after starting with Claudia, which I never thought I would be able to do!"

Elisabetta Cortis
